Windows Vista
Compatibility |

The YES software for 2007
functions properly under Windows Vista. Administrator
level control is required for installation. The software
itself can be run with Guest level control as long as full
control over the install folder is provided. If the data
is to be located in a folder other than the install folder, full
control over the data folder is also required. |

Enterprise
version |
|
The enterprise version offers
two features especially suited to the larger entity.
First, it allows for assignment of operators. Only
assigned operators are allowed access to the program after
entering a password. Further, operators can be granted
read/write or read-only access to all or specific payers and
forms. Read-only operators may view information on the
screen and may print forms only. Read/write operators may
also enter and change data. There is no limit to the
number of operators that may be assigned.
The other main feature in the
Enterprise version is the creation of individual .pdf files.
When laser generated forms are printed, they can be output in a
separate .pdf file for each recipient. These files can
then be used in web applications. A file naming facility
is provided by which you can construct the .pdf file names to
include the last name, last 4 digits of the tax id, tax year,
department, and/or other data items. |

The 2007 YES Trial Version software is now
available. Click the button to the left to download.
The Trial Version has all of the capabilities of the full
release except that it will not produce usable output. Use
it check out new features and test form alignment and importing. |

QuickBooks
2006+ W2 Import |
|
QuickBooks
2006+ W2 import is available. This import has a dedicated
import interface and works differently than the import for QB 2005 and previous. Because of changes in the QB payroll
product, the import method for previous versions will not work
with QB2006+. Step-by-step instructions can viewed in the
user guide. |

2007 Forms |
|
The W2, 1099MISC,
and most 1099 forms are basically the same for 2007. Form changes
are editorial in nature. All forms retain
the same size & shape. Except for preprinted forms with any
literal date information, you can use the same
forms / paper / envelopes as were used in 2006. We
test forms from Nelco to ensure compatibility.
However, you can use forms from any vendor. |
