The Social Security Administration accepts a laser generated format of the Copy A form of the W-2. It is not required to use the “red forms”. To print the B/W laser generated Copy A form in the YES program:
1. Go MAIN MENU -> SETUP -> FORM SETUP -> W2 -> SSA COPY.
2. On the next screen click the STYLE button.
3. From the drop-down list, select style 5 as shown here:

That’s it! When you print the W-2 Copy A forms they will print in the SSA approved format, ready to be filed.

The YES software for 2011 is now available for download from this web site. The download is the Trial Version, which contains all of the features of the full version except that it will not print usable forms or create electronic files.
When purchasing on-line by credit card, your purchase is followed by a confirmation email. In this email will be a your organization’s registration key that will unlock the trial version.
Update letters and order forms were mailed the first week of October. Use this order form to order by check. Order on-line to order by credit card.
